The South Fork flows from the bottom of Palisades Reservoir, about 12 miles from the lodge to its confluence with the fabled Henry’s Fork, some 62 river miles away. Our chefs and mixologists are the envy of every sportsmen’s lodge. Adam Perry Lang and Chris Bianco spearhead a family-style meal program. Our star bartender Sadie Montana works year-round at The Machete Bar which boasts a whiskey collection that requires a ladder to reach to the top shelf.
Location
The lodge sits atop the legendary canyon section, a preferred float for anglers come stonefly season in late June and early July. No section of the river is out of reach — the lodge is perfectly situated to give anglers quality and variety.
About
South Fork Lodge has come a long way in the 80-plus years since it began as a fish camp on the bank of the South Fork. The existing lodge was built in 1998 by conservationist Mark Rockefeller. It is now owned and operated by legendary guide and outfitter Oliver White and fly fishing enthusiast Jimmy Kimmel.
