Rusty Sauls

Rusty is a lifelong angler and a very passionate guide.

From the Central Valley of California, Rusty’s grandparents took him to fish the reservoirs of the Sierra Nevada as soon as he could walk. In 2012, following a summer fishing remote waters in Alaska and a number of trips to Montana, Rusty signed up for the South Fork Lodge Guide school, fell in love with native cutthroats, and has been a guide ever since. Rusty is an excellent teacher whose patience and love of the sport assures you’ll get hooked too (but not literally).
